Bob was truly the real deal. He was a dreamer as a kid, and whatever he imagined, he was made for the world that is currently being born.

In an effort to recover from the epidemic, San Francisco has been battling what appears to be an increase in crime. 12 homicides have been reported in San Francisco so far this year, according to preliminary police statistics, a 20% increase from the same period last year. San Francisco saw 56 murders overall in 2022, which is precisely the same amount of murders the city experienced in 2021.

Although Goldbard omitted details about Lee’s passing from his statement, he expressed his reaction to the news in a separate Twitter thread by saying, “As a lifelong Bay Area resident, I have more questions than answers tonight.”

“Something isn’t functioning in our grey city, but I have no idea how to fix it. Bob left this world far too quickly, according to Goldbard’s tweet.

MMA fighter Jake Shields tweeted that Mr Lee appeared to have been the victim of a random mugging while out working in a “good part of the city”.

Elon Musk replied to Mr Shields that he knew many people who had been “severely assaulted” in San Francisco.

“Violent crime in SF is horrific and even if attackers are caught, they are often released immediately,” Mr Musk tweeted. “Is the city taking stronger action to incarcerate repeat violent offenders (San Francisco District Attorney) Brooke Jenkins?”
