World News, April 2023. Google is remembering today (30th April 2023), paying a special tribute to Harry Potter fame Alan Rickman.

Alan trained at RADA (the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) in London and became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. (RSC),
t was one of his first leading theatre performances, and is described by Google as being “instrumental in launching his career”.
Performing in modern and classical theatre productions. Alan played the Vicomte de Valmont in the RSC stage production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses in 1985.

In famous “Harry Potter” series, He played the role of Professor Severus Snap, a complex and enigmatic character who serves as the potions master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Throughout the series, Snape is initially portrayed as an antagonist, but as the story progresses, his true motivations and loyalties are revealed, making him one of the most compelling characters in the franchise. Rickman’s portrayal of Snape was widely praised and is considered to be one of his most iconic roles.

and after the production transferred to the West End in 1986 and Broadway in 1987, he was nominated for a Tony Award.

Rickman made his television acting debut playing Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (1978) as part of the BBC’s Shakespeare series.

Rickman’s breakout role was as the villainous Hans Gruber in the 1988 action film “Die Hard,” which showcased his ability to bring complexity and nuance to a character. He went on to portray memorable characters in numerous films, including “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves,” “Sense and Sensibility,” “Galaxy Quest,” and the “Harry Potter” series, where he played the role of Professor Severus Snape.

Aside from his successful acting career, Rickman also had a passion for directing, and directed the films “The Winter Guest” and “A Little Chaos.” He was widely regarded as a versatile and accomplished actor, with a remarkable range and an ability to bring depth and emotion to his performances.

Tragically, Alan Rickman passed away on January 14, 2016, at the age of 69, due to pancreatic cancer. He will always be remembered as a talented actor and a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
