A screenshot of the assignment given to the children by a teacher of the school has also been posted on Twitter and Facebook.
In the assignment named ‘Fantacy Story’ it has been said that, ‘For those students who were absent, you will write a short story of a paragraph or two. This story is a sexual fantasy that will have NO penetration of any kind or oral sex (no way of passing an STI). You will choose 3 items (romantic music, candles, massage oil, feather, feather boa, flavored syrup, etc.) to use in your story. Your story should show that you can show and receive loving physical affection without having sex.’
At the end of this assignment titled ‘With Who Would You Do It?’, teacher Kirk Miller said, ‘Your story should show how you can give and receive loving physical affection without having sex and oral sex. ’ Within the time the assignment was posted, the suggestive fury spread among the children’s parents, with hundreds of indignant comments pouring in from their side.
Some high school students reportedly missed assignments, and were absent from class, to submit a short ‘hypothesis’ of 10 points, one or two paragraphs, on Canvas, an online learning management system. story’ in which children can show and receive loving physical affection without having sex with sex toys. The assignment asked students to choose or write three items to use in the story, such as candles, massage oil, feathers, and scented syrup, and fantasize about having sex without sex and enjoying oral sex.
The syllabus approved by the school management also includes an assignment called ‘With Who Will You Do It?’ It asked students to initial a boy and a girl in the classroom with whom they would be willing to perform various sexual acts, including anal and oral sex, which some parents say make their children uncomfortable.
At this, residents of the local city of Tampa raised their voice against the school’s sex curriculum and demanded its removal. One parent said, ‘If an adult male asked my daughter to share her sexual fantasies with him, I would get angry and go to the police. No teacher has any right to ask this of a child.’ Parents have expressed outrage over the assignment, describing it as making their children feel humiliated, awkward and scared.
